Welcome QR&G's Newest Associate Attorney, Patrick M. Klemz

QR&G welcomes our newest Associate Attorney, Patrick M. Klemz, to the Firm. Mr. Klemz brings a diverse array of professional skills and experience to our clients. He received his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2012 and his B.S. in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin in 2005. He was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in March 2013, and to the District of Columbia Bar in January 2017. While in law school, Mr. Klemz spent summers as a law clerk with land use practitioner Michael Lilly in Beaverton, Oregon and worked on a public interest project with the Oregon Water Access Group. He also served as an intern with the Small Business Legal Clinic and later as a Pro Bono Attorney with the Saint Andrew Legal Clinic, providing legal services to Portland entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizers who could not otherwise afford to hire a business law attorney. After law school, Mr. Klemz clerked for the Honorable Ilisa Rooke-Ley in Eugene, Oregon.

Before joining Quinn, Racusin & Gazzola Chartered, Mr. Klemz worked as a project attorney for a number of D.C. area law firms, primarily practicing in the areas of civil litigation and antitrust law. Mr. Klemz’s duties at QR&G include conducting legal research; drafting and filing motions and memoranda for state and federal courts; assisting with the preparation of trust and estate planning documents, and the administration of estates; and representing business law clients. Mr. Klemz's presence at the Firm significantly reduces the time the Firm’s senior attorneys must devote to casework and thereby reduces costs to our clients.
